Privacy Policy

Last updated: June 1, 2026

FerraLink (“FerraLink,” “we,” “us,” or “our”) operates ferralink.com. This Privacy Policy explains what information we collect, how we use it, and your rights regarding that information. By using our website or submitting a form, you agree to this policy. Our Terms & Conditions govern purchases and use of our online tools.

1. Information We Collect

We collect information you provide directly when you:

  • Submit a contact, pricing, or walkthrough request (name, email address, company, project details, timeline, and product interest)
  • Request an evaluation sample (email address, company name, selected product)
  • Submit an RFQ or free DFM review (contact details, material and geometry requirements, power/thermal targets, notes, and optional design files such as DXF, Gerber, or STEP)
  • Use the Submount Advisor or engineering package intake (name, email, company, die and stack inputs, simulation summaries, recommended material, and notes you choose to share)
  • Request early access to pre-release products (for example, CVD diamond submount evaluation)
  • Email us directly at info@ferralink.com

When you run a Submount Advisor simulation without submitting contact details, we may still log anonymized or pseudonymous technical inputs (such as die size, power, and triage path) to improve the tool. That log is not linked to your email unless you later submit a form that includes it.

We also collect limited technical information automatically when you visit our site, including IP address, browser type, pages visited, and referring URL. This data is collected through Vercel Analytics and, if you accept cookies, Google Analytics.

Our site may store temporary data in your browser (session storage) to prefill forms or remember in-progress advisor or package flows. This data stays on your device until you clear it or close the browser session; it is not sent to us until you submit a form.

2. How We Use Your Information

  • To respond to your inquiry, sample request, RFQ, or engineering intake
  • To send you pricing, technical documentation, quotes, or scoped statements of work you requested
  • To follow up on submitted orders, package requests, or advisor leads
  • To maintain customer relationship records in our CRM
  • To improve our website, Submount Advisor, and understand which content is useful to visitors
  • To comply with legal obligations

We do not sell, rent, or share your personal information with third parties for their independent marketing purposes.

3. Email Communications

If you submit a form on our website, we may follow up by email regarding your inquiry. These are transactional communications directly related to your request. If you wish to stop receiving follow-up emails, reply to any email from us with “unsubscribe” in the subject line and we will remove you from our contact list within 5 business days.

4. Third-Party Services

We use the following third-party services to operate our website and respond to inquiries:

  • Vercel — website hosting, performance analytics, and speed insights. Vercel may collect anonymized usage data. See Vercel’s Privacy Policy.
  • Resend — email delivery used to notify our team when you submit a form. See Resend’s Privacy Policy.
  • HubSpot — customer relationship management. Form submissions may create or update contact and deal records in HubSpot. HubSpot may also set cookies or collect usage data through scripts on our site. See HubSpot’s Privacy Policy.
  • Google Analytics — site usage analytics, loaded only if you click “Accept cookies” on our cookie banner. See Google’s Privacy Policy.
  • Supabase — secure database storage for Submount Advisor and engineering lead events when configured in our production environment. See Supabase’s Privacy Policy.

These providers process data on our behalf under their own privacy policies and applicable data processing terms. We do not use third-party advertising or remarketing pixels.

5. Cookies and Browser Storage

We use cookies and similar technologies as follows:

  • Cookie consent preference — stored in your browser (local storage) when you accept or decline analytics cookies.
  • Google Analytics — loaded only after you accept cookies via our banner. If you decline, GA4 is not initialized.
  • HubSpot — may set cookies or use local storage for CRM and site analytics as described in HubSpot’s documentation.
  • Vercel Analytics — privacy-oriented, cookieless page-view analytics that does not require cookie consent on our site.
  • Session storage — temporary browser storage for advisor handoff, package intake prefill, and funnel session IDs. Not shared with third parties except as part of analytics events after you accept cookies.

You can control cookies through our banner, your browser settings, or by declining analytics cookies. Declining analytics cookies does not block access to the site or your ability to submit forms.

6. Data Retention

We retain your contact information and form submissions for as long as necessary to fulfill your request, maintain our business relationship, support engineering engagements, and meet legal or accounting requirements. Advisor simulation logs and CRM records follow the same retention approach unless you request deletion. If you request deletion of your data, we will do so within 30 days unless retention is required by legal obligation.

7. Your Rights

Depending on your location, you may have the right to:

  • Access the personal information we hold about you
  • Request correction of inaccurate information
  • Request deletion of your information
  • Object to or restrict processing of your information
  • Withdraw consent at any time (where processing is based on consent)

To exercise any of these rights, email us at info@ferralink.com. We will respond within 30 days.

8. California Privacy Rights (CCPA)

California residents have the right to know what personal information we collect, the right to delete that information, and the right to opt out of any sale of personal information. We do not sell personal information. To exercise your rights, contact us at info@ferralink.com.

9. International Visitors

Our website is operated in the United States. If you are visiting from the European Union, United Kingdom, or another region with data protection laws, please be aware that your information will be transferred to and processed in the United States. By using our site, you consent to this transfer.

10. Security

We take reasonable technical and organizational measures to protect your information from unauthorized access, disclosure, or loss. All data transmitted to and from our website is encrypted via HTTPS.

11. Changes to This Policy

We may update this Privacy Policy from time to time. When we do, we will update the “Last updated” date at the top of this page. Continued use of the website after changes constitutes acceptance of the updated policy.
